How to make Spicy Indian Crab Curry - Recipe
By blessedmom
Spicy Indian crab curry is a popular seafood recipe in India. This recipe involves crab pieces cooked in a spicy mix and coconut mixture and cooked on a medium flame. This crab curry is perfect for cold weather and good for some health issues like cold as well. You can increase the spices if you like it hotter. You can also substitute cooked shrimp, lobster, king crab legs or imitation crab meat or lobster tail. If you are using raw crab or dungeons crab, clean it, and take the legs off the body. Cut the body into two pieces, discard the hard shell. I have also included a link to a spicy Indian crab curry recipe at the end of this hub. Make sure to check it out.

First time i cook my own crabcurry. I think it`s better than my wife`s curry, but don`t tell her. I used coconutmilk instead of your coconut strips. Nice flavour !!
Just finished all the saute. Waiting for the crab to be cooked. But as for ur recipe, which point should salt be added. And for Aron there are different types of cooking followed in India. I just saute onion and meat first (to remove the raw smell) before adding any spices. There are different ways of cooking sea food in different states. Even in TN there are different recipes for crab. So if u like try it else leave.
And as for the post, thanks a lot. My mother-in-law never tried to learn cooking crab, so it was always said to be off limit for her kids. But my husband tasted it in a friends place, he liked it very much and asked his mom to make crab curry. But she refused. So he is just excited that i am cooking this recipe and invited that friend. once again thanks a lot and will surely add my comment when tasted.

I am from India and I'm afraid have never heard of a recipe as posted above..first of all, onions and chillies are always sauteed with curry powders and spices before adding the main ingredient,be it crab or anything else (meat, fish, vegetable).Another thing is,cooking crab with coconut paste or coconut milk is common here, but cow's milk?? Never heard of that one..let alone, breaking eggs into the pot and adding soy sauce?!? In any case,if it tastes good, then best of luck!
